While I worked for Disney Cruise Lines as Scenic/Props/Puppets, I had the opportunity to do a full re-paint/color of their trademark show “Disney Dreams”.  I created a new color scheme at the request of the head of Disney Entertainment that was a departure from the darker/dingier blue/purple and replaced it with a more vibrant pink/magenta that was more reflective of the youthfull main character “Anne Marie” who’s room it was supposed to represent.  Years later, I happened across a rental set that a reputable Civic Light Opera company had designed and built for “Peter Pan” and I had to laugh when I saw how similar their set for Wendy’s room was to our set for “Disney Dreams”… even down to the exact hues of my updated color scheme.
