“The Complete Works of William Shakespeare” was the third show produced by Theatre Club.  It was an oversimplified representation of the stage at the “Globe Theater” of which the Bard is associated with.  Because of the absurd way that all of Shakespeare’s work was represented, I decided to decorate the set with a base “parchment” treatment, overlaid with a variety of famous quotes from all of Shakespeare’s works.  The students had a lot of fun both choosing the quotes and writing them (especially the “ink spills” that I told them would lend credibility to the handwriting)  This was also the first time I had an opportunity to show them how “sheer walls” and “I-beams” work in practice instead of just theory.
